    Hi,

I have an aptitude test on the 8th of June with BOI for a generic grad position they have going.

It consists of a written aptitude(bring a calculator) test and an oral aptitude test.

What will it entail? Especially the oral test?

I failed the first round of positions earlier in the year with an online aptitude personality test, but since this is a kind of once off recruitment drive again because of 'new positions' becoming available they called me back. So will i be all corporate-y in the oral test, say i'm a team player, love group work but what's the craic with 'Leadership', should i say i display leadership abilities? I'd have thought they'd want drone workers???

Anyone ever done this grad craic before in BOI?

    Cheers!

This sounds like second round of process and I did it a couple of years back.

The written, if I remember correctly was very much geared towards personality profiling using various hypothetical/multiple choice questions; it was very different from standard first round aptitude test at BOI and others.

The oral part, when I did it, was a role playing exercise. We were all given a profile (think I was sales director) and had to act out a board meeting, we had about 10 minutes to prepare and at the end of meeting we had to agree on policies etc. for fictitious company.

If you mail or call the HR dept. I'm sure they would be happy to give you more details.

Its hard to imagine how you could really prepare for it, I think the whole point is to see how you react under pressure and show your true personality.

The only advice I'd give is (if you really want the job that is) to be positive and confident and make the most of the role play part, it’s your chance to show them what you are really like.

    Good luck with it anyway!
