Been trying to track down this song for *years* - was played on the night-time "automatic" jukebox Phantom used to play back in the day, so never found out who the band was.

    Words go something like

    "out my bedroom window
the window's all wet with rain
the red car that is parked there...

    see another colour,
    turn on my TV
    roll over in my bed
    close my eyes
    forcing something good
    to materialise.. I realise

    [chorus]
    This road is so unclear
    today I just don't care
    This road is so unclear
    [/chorus]

    Thousands of excuses
    reasons I call lame
    I hide beneath the bedclothes
    ....

    Anyone ? Bueller ? Anyone ?

I pasted the track up to Youtube in the hope that someone can ID it.

If it sounds like it is a bit rough, it's because originally had it on tape, then converted it to MP3 and then to vid

    Hi Frank,

I remember the song, but cant for the life of me remember the band. Leave it with me and I will ask some more of the Phantom types and play the youtube bit too.
