Repairing w800i

Hey,

was just wondering if it was handy to install a lcd screen for a se w800i..i want a new case and lcd screen for w800i any one kno best place to get these? i would also like to get it unlocked debranded and installed with w800i software as it was a k750i..have about 70euro to spend where's the best place to get parts and equipment?

Not worth it tbh, altho great phone when it works. The issues with crashing outweigh the positives.

I got an W810I for €30 on o2 (also piece of crap that crashes a lot) but why spend 70 when you can buy a new one for less.

The lad who is banned from boards unlocked both mine, feel bad now i cant recall his website or name.

my mate just got a w810 for 280 lol..it aint really a w800i its a k750i with w800i housing..i thinks its a class phone tbh...was it the guy from ********? i got banned from that site or maybe it was the owner of thefonedoc?

I replaced a w800i case which involved dismatling the lcd screen so yes it is easy to do. You can probably buy a replacement screen for 20-30. I saw that you can get an N95 replacement screen for 30.

would it really be worth it to repair for 70euro or should i just leave it like KjaCJ said?

i had previously asked him about the price of a k750i lcd screen he said 30 so how is that a bad offer if its only 15 more to get unlocked..and also i was just seeing if he wanted that credit note but was expecting a reply saying yes or no..

Dont bother with that case.its going to be fake from asia.its a waste of money.Get one from a uk supplier and pay abit extra for it rather than asian seller

cool man cheers will probably wait till next week to order them as I don't have alot of money atm..would that lcd screen be fake or real?
