second hand i see nothing wrong with it.....

first hand, if it was the other player that bet i would definately call....
bet the bet from him could mean a lot of things....
would have bet the turn here myself, not pot but 75 ish...
the way it was played out, i more than likely would reluctantly call but really wouldnt think i was good, just not able to lay it down kinda thing, weirdly enough i put him on 44 here :S haha
    p.s. im a pesimist

Hand 1 id often repot preflop and i'd call the river. I dont mind checking the turn.

    Hand 2 is horrible.

First hand is a definite call on the river. I may have repotted it preflop, but mostly I don't.

Second hand, you need to have chosen your target wisely, as the lone A can be a powerful tool, but against the wrong player it can be a serrious mistake.

def call on river but should i pot/bet turn?

No harm in betting half pot on the turn in hand 1.

Thinking about 2 again, it may not be the worst bet ever. I didnt notice the lone ace play earlier. I think he'll drop everthing but the second nuts there. Reall opponenet specific though. Alot of people wont fold to a rive rbet after calling a pot bet on the turn.

in the first hand he had 24 for the rivered house,
the second one was just silly really when he was that shallow

yeah true, didnt see his stack, only 140 behind good chance of him calling...
    q or k or 7 high?? :D
and personally i hate the 1st hand, really bad position for you there, hard to get off of, i sometimes lay it down but more often that not call, when they bet into 2 players and they're kinda tight i normally pass

Is this standard it's a nice looking double-suited hand but for some reason when I saw it first I thought it was a bit loose to call the reraise at full ring.
Is this considered a premium hand preflop in PLO?

    Hi Monke,
I've played against you a few times at Betfair PLO tables. I'd usually play both hands exactly as you did, although the second one I would choose my customer carefully, as another poster already mentioned, i.e. wouldn't make the play against a calling station. I don't think I have any notes on Davud, but I presume he's fairly solid and has some fold in him if you thought the play was good. First one certainly a call, especially against tsotsi who is full of bluff. I wouldn't bet the turn, no point bloating the pot for bigger river decision if called.
    GL,
    KP

edit: given your stack size and premium holding, nowt wrong with shoving it in before the flop in Hand 1, although Dawdip (from my mental notes of playing him a lot on Betfair) has AAxx almost always here.

    cheers kp
dawdip does seem to be a bit of a loon.
for the relatively small player field at betfair there seems to be a lot of fishy players, do you know anything about huztler, puhprah2 and plonquer, the latter i suspect as actually being quite good despite his unorthodox play

in the second he called with the q flush, ugh

PLONQUER is a very well known irish pro quite possibly on boards

i play betfair omaha though not 2/5 but i regularly see a lot of the 2/5 players at my level and i think they are terrible.now they may be splashing cash at 50c/1 but i believe a fish is a fish

Hand 1 is an easy easy call on the river, I would often bet the turn for value.
Hand 2 is ok if you know he's tight and is capable of folding weaker flushes. Though I generally don't try it against guys who are so short.

If you bet the turn what is calling you?
I think you played the hand fine, and I'm calling against most opponents on this river.
    Did dawdip fold?
hould i really be at this kind of malarky?
Yes. If the players are a bunch of nits. You have the nuts, they do not. Having said that, not betting the pot looks more like the nuts. I would often be more inclined to call the full pot bet here than a bet that looked like it was after a showdown.
