    Just wanted to let people know that there are an increasing number of Volunteer Centres being set up all around the country, where you can get information on local volunteering opportunities.

    I do work for one, so I hope its ok to post the info here - but as we are all not-for-profit and offer a free service to voluntary groups and individuals interested in volunteering, I would hope I'm not breaching any rules.

    The Centres keep up-to-date lists of volunteering opportunities, and help to match people up with volunteering roles that appeal to them.
