The better reception on an LCD?

This may be a dumb question, so bear with me!

I just moved into Adamstown, Lucan. Note this is an FTTH (fibre to the home) area.

I have just bought a Sony Bravia 40W2000 LCD TV. I am considering whether to go with NTL or Magnet. Ignoring cost, channel listings, the Sky option (can't as in a duplex) etc - here's my query:

Someone told me that Magnet may have a better reception on this TV than NTL would - could this be true?

If so, because I can't take the HD option through Sky, Magnet would then seem a better option if it takes more advantage of my TV (or vice-versa)?

    Thanx in advance :)

    F.

Neither will take more advantage of your telly, they'll both drive it at normal standard definition resolution. As regards which one is best, see if you can get magnet on a trial for a few months to test it. I had it for a while, tv was pretty sharp, but v. unreliable in terms of freezing, pixelation etc. and now I'm with NTL analogue.

NTL analogue poor compared with Magnet TV is poor compared with NTL Digital poor compared with Satellite.

Apart from front of building, despite "agreements" it is illegal to forbid you a dish. But you can't mount it by drilling on walls belonging to someone else.

    Magnet excellent for Broadband though.
