One of my magazines was doing that a while ago. The gas would just go in one end and come straight out the other. .

Just stopped happening one day. I have no idea what I did. May have been a heat issue. Have you tried letting the magazine/gun warm up before you try?

Is the mag in the gun at the time? Take the mag out then charge it. If its not tat then silicone the release valve on the back, it could be jamming:confused:

more than likely it's a seal problem, try taking the gun apart and grease the seals ? (if you feel up to it)

it's hard to say, if the gas chamber is actually part of the gun and not in the mag, then it's internal workings might be a little different

Is the gas in the Mag or the Gun?

Right, taking up where we left off in my FS thread (check it Trinity, and please delete your posts in there).

Information to all - the gas is held in the gun itself, the refill is by an inlet valve located underneath the grip, right next to where the mag slides in. You press the bottle nozzle against the valve until physical pressure releases the valve and the bottle contents fill up the tank.

OP, from what you've described here and in my thread, it sounds like whoever did the scope rail mount might have done a p1ss-poor job and punctured the internal gas tank during the drilling operation, or he/she used screws which are too long and likewise punctured the gas tank.

NOTE: I have not taken mine apart ever, but...

I remember the dealer where I bought mine from, who told me that a portion of the gas tank (supposedly L-shaped) lodges under the rear portion of the slide (for some unfathomable reason), and to be careful if I was going to do any 'hardcore' modding to the body (i.e. make apertures in it).

So, where are the drill points on yours? Can you take any pix by any chance and upload them?
