Of course there is. Trading is done everywhere in the world. Check out the various banks and so on. If you've no experience you;ll probably need to go through the milk rounds which as far as I know are over for the year.

Not many. Most of the foreign investment banking companies do their trading in london. The big ones (Merill Lynch, GS, MSCO, etc... ) have offices here but its mainly fund administration.

Off the top of my head here are a few that do trading from dublin:
    NCB
    Davys
    AIB
    BOI
    Susquehanna

If thats what you want I'd go to London. There are only seven (I think) places that do it in Ireland and most of these are very small really. London is far bigger and there would be many, many times more available. Most companies will try recruit internally to begin with and most guys who start in finance seem to want to be traders so the competition is fierce. There is a propriety trading place in dublin that gives people internships quite easily (apparently - i only heard anecdotally) but it supposed to be very tough and is i believe unpaid

Bit of a strange company, I did an interview there. Offered job but didn't take it
You are not an employee but an independant contractor.

AFAIK, you only get a salary if you make a profit of $5,000 each month.
This was about a year so facts may slightly out.

I had a phone interview with that company, I had to squeeze it out of the guy that there was no pay.. thats where I ended the interview. Basically they are more than willing to let you earn them money, but not willing to pay you for it.
A scam if you ask me.
I seen the ad on a uni website, they advertise on uni sites because its free.
