It's changed in the last few minutes. My uselect has gone. Admittedly the site looks better but as a daily user this appears to be unannounced and they obviously have not factoerd in uselect users with custom content.

Yea, but the new site is a vast improvement on the old one.

Cant comment about Uselect as I didnt use it, but are they maybe providing the same functionality another way?

Or, maybe it's a known problem that will be sorted out very soon (I spotted a few other small problems)

Is it just me, or is it quite similar to the irish times website?

I dont think its anything like the Irish Times.
The only similarity is the font used and it's colour

Big plus for indo is that IT has vertical menus, Indo has horizontal.
This leaves room for better layout of the article snippets.

I think it looks a like a poorer version of the recent/ongoing Guardian Unlimited site.

Irish newspapers just haven't got their web versions right yet.

Hmmm, which version of Opera are you using?
I'm on 9.2 (the latest) and everything seems fine, no problems with the drop down menus.

Doesn't really matter whether it's still a bit crap, it's a huge improvement on it's previous incarnation - that was truly an unholy alliance of bad user interface and a big pile of (insert favoured word). And finally a proper search function. This is bound to give them a huge jump in the advertising revenue.

Vast improvement indeed and much nicer layout. Opera looks fine to me , apart from pictures loading very slowly. Can we assume the content will follow? :p

I can't seem to find the link to the front page pdf.
Did they scrap it or am I not looking hard enough?

Yeah I'm annoyed the archive is gone as well. The business news seemed to have messed up on Sunday as well...which is annoying as I write for it.

Might give them a ring and see what's going on.
