Plan is set to reattempt on the 19th of May 2007. Will you be there? 11.30am at the LSS Beach hut.

Newsflash: The record is still ours. Undefeated!

Between 200 and 300 surfers showed up last year to take part and about 1000 people watched from the shore as the knee high waves allowed us to smash the record! Yi Ha, Lahinch's party wave twelve months on is still a world record. It's official, the attempts in Australia and S.Africa were defunkt!

Check back for more details. We are running again on May 19th, check in at the surf school is at 11.30am, surfing equipment is not provided and it's mainly for people who are semi-competent surfers!! People who are not brilliant surfers can take part ofcourse, probably best to take part at either end of the main crew. No rules, we'll just make them up as we go along, we'll just see how we get on, on the day, lots of screaming and roaring and hopefully the waves won't be too big or too small.

So who's going along? Can't see myself getting much surfing done, but it looks like a laugh!
