If anyone is interested in seeing a Division 3 NCAA team in action then you should come along as we are playing them this Saturday at the Postal Sports Club on the Kiltipper Road.

Their results and highlights from most of their games can be found here, they are a damn good team and going to show us what football is all about in the US.

The last two college teams to play over here really did school the Irish teams they played but we are hoping to put on a good show for the day anyway!

You might want to try and actually read the post, the game was at the weekend, you know the one that already happened? No point advertisin it now unless you got the use of a time machine that we dont know about?

Do you? Can I have it?

G'wan, give us a hint. What was the score? Did you have many spectators?

    Full report expected! :D

    67-0 to the Stags

Best of 60 people turned up the the rain poured and it was more like 20. It was a good day for all involved. We made some good contacts and guys made new friends and learned alot of things from the Stags. Some noteable performances from some of our guys especially Danny B 33 made a great Int and a few nice tackles. Good game by all.

Good stuff and fair play to your club.

I saw the one in Greystones a few years back, and the gulf in class was amazing.

Great experience to have, though, and I hope it stands you/your club in good stead for the future.

Yeah it was a tough game, every game is tough when you are on the field for all but 3 or 4 plays but against these guys it really takes its toll, they weren't overly big but had a lot of size on us and the speed and strenght of them really shone through, very powerful guys.

It was all good fun though and played in very good spirit from both sides of the ball which was also good, it feels a little weird when a QB can drop his head into your chest and come out unscathed... though he did trip over me on the way past so i'm taking credit for that one!
