Staff wanted for Irish bar in Spain

I'm looking for staff to work in an Irish bar in Spain, Minorca to be exact, for the summer.

The job involves six morning shifts and seven evening shifts a week. There will also be the possibility of having no morning shifts for one week in every month, giving plenty of time to have some fun.
The hours are long but pay is good and tips are excellent. You could easily save around 3 to 4 thousand Euro's in 4months, and have a great time doing it.

Anyone interested should have at least 2 to 3 years bar experience. Being able to speak Spanish is NOT necessary but it's nice to have.

Accommodation is provided but you must pay for your own flights (This is to ensure that we only get people coming over who are serious about working and not just trying to get a cheap holiday).

The job is available immediately and runs until November. The start and end dates are flexible though, in particular the end date. It could be changed to suit college students who are finishing exams shortly and would be returning to college at the end of September.

If anyone is interested, pm me or reply to this post.

    Kev.

That sounds pretty cool. What kinds of wages would they be and what kind of an area is the bar located in? I'm 19, speak a little Spanish and would be available until mid September. I just realised the 2 - 3 years of bar experience thing. I have 2 years experience in retail and that's about it.

There isn't a fixed amount on the wages. They vary from worker to worker. The better you are, the more you'll get. The wages are less than here but so is the cost of living. You'll also get a lot of free drinks and you'll get discounts in nearly every pub and restaurant in the area. You can really live it up and save a lot at the same time (as long as you turn up for work on time!!).
The area is Cala'n Blanes or Cala'n Forcat (they run into each other) if you want to try looking it up. It's mostly geared towards families with young kids but there's a great social scene amongst the different workers there (reps, waiters, barstaff) who are generally between 18 and 25.
    Pm me if interested.

    Hey,

My name's Emma and I'm looking for some bar work over the summer before I go to uni in Sept. I have got 3yrs experience working behind a bar including a night club and a basic cocktail bar. I am a fast learner and willing to work any hours/days available. I am looking to work to save some money for uni as well as having a good laugh before going! Is there accommodation included? If not, what is the going rate?? I'm really interested and hope that you could get back to me by emailing me: emzclaire@hotmail.com.

    Cheers,

    Em :p

But i'm not sure if they're looking? Seen a handful of others in Greece, if that's somewhere you'd be interested?
