Calm yourself! I'd ring up the Passport Office first thing in the morning and ask them about it: http://www.dfa.ie/home/index.aspx?id=401

They should be able to hook you up with some sort of emergency passport. I can't seem to find the info on it unforunately! But they'll be able to accomodate you I'm sure.

my mum's brother had a heart attack a few years ago. he lives in brussels and she wanted to be with him straight away. she didnt have a passport. rang the office in dublin and they got one for her the next day. you'll need to go to dublin to collect it and you'll need your flight tickets as proof it is an emergency. it should only take a day but ring them before you go there to let them know. enjoy the holiday.
