You may have seen this elsewhere, but in case not:

Dublin City Volunteer Week (1-7 June) is running an amateur photography competition on the subject of Volunteering in Ireland. Selected images will be displayed in a gallery during the event week, and throughout the summer. The top three images will win prizes.
