    Anyone heard anything about these?

The units have been built a few months now and they are all still emty.

I'm surprised they were built without some tennants in place.

Smacks of bad town planning to me ... either that or the eternally hopeful "If we build it, they will come" type of developer.

We could just call it another white elephant like the 'art' on the roundabout?

There are very few retail developments built with tenants in place first.

I disagree but then again we are always disagreeing! :)

And what are we hoping the tenants to be? Tubs and Tiles, Woodies?

    Oh the glamour.

    What would you expect yourself?
Harvey Nicks, BT, John Lewis, Cartier, Fortum & Mason?

    Well it is Balbriggan!

Whatever happened to Aldi with their big sign "Opening Soon" that they had beside the Graveyard?
I presume they wouldn't be averse to going into one of the units (unless they prefer their own Carbon copy shops)

I've heard Aldi have a habit of putting up those signs before they get planning permission to build, hoping that local interest will help get the planning permission through. Looks like this one didn't work out for them.

B & Q, Argos, and Bargaintown should do nicely there.

Save all the people living in new houses having to go all the way to Swords;)

Oooh and a nice huge big 24 hour tescos, or at least one less scary and nicer then the one already there.

    LOL @ Tescos

I went in there at lunchtime and I came out depressed. It is like the land of the living dead in there.
