    Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but was toying with the idea of looking into opening an internet cafe/call shop. Think i know of a good location etc. Just wondering tho is there good money in it?? I cant really see how u could make a lot, but then again I have not really looked into it completely as in the profit side of things. Any comments??

Business Management Forum is probably your best bet. I think this came up before, and a few people didn't think it was a great idea - a lot seem to have gone bust. Edit: link corrected.

I networked one up for a guy in Feb, New Dell PC's etc. Drove past it the other day and it was closed up. but he did have terrible location. If you have the right location though and good management/marketing skills I dont see why you couldn't make it work

The business management forum link is actually this

Depends what you want to do with your Internet cafe. If all you plan to do is allow customers access to your pc's at a quid an hour, forget it. There simply is not enough money in it. For an internet cafe to work you need the following:

A Good Location with high footfall
As little staff as possible and top quality equipment
Auxilary services - printing, food, drinks, gaming. This is where the money is to be made.
Something different which differentiates you from your competitors

    and finally

    Luck!!
