[Req] How to get the History Channel into my apartment

    Hi All,

I’ve recently moved into an apartment in West Dublin for which Smart Telecom have the Cable/Broadband contract. As Smart Telecom do not provide “The History Channel”as part of their TV package, I’m looking for some alternative provider. NTL won’t provide for the building and a Sky Dish may be a problem as I may not have the correct angle for the dish, which I’m not allowed to put up in the first place.

Does anyone know any way that I can get the “History Channel”, eg another provider, via some use of the internet, anything??

    Thanks In Advance

Nope. Chorus/NTL/UPC or Sky Sub is it.

A dish may work trough a window, depending on glass type and dish angle.

They can only stop you drilling holes or mounting on front of building. I don't believe they can legally enforce removal of a dish not damaging fabric of building.
