Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion advice

i bought The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for ps3 the other day

i played it and finished it on the xbox 360 before but didn't do alot of extra quests{i was a fighter}

iv decided to do a mage for once

im usually a fighter in RPG's but i taught for once to test myself

im having trouble with this character class

any advice

im level 5

my Destruction level is 55
and conjuration level is 55
and my alteration level is 25

what skill type do i need to improve to increase my magic

and i have around 1000 cash just incase i need to buy anything

apperently their is a quest that once youve completed it you can get full "magika" for ever ..don't know how true this is though :rolleyes:
is there any cheats for this game anybody know?

I fyou buy cheap spells that you can cast over and over, you can get your level up fast. Mine were up in the 90's pretty sharpish. Magic ftw.

yeah u just gotta get your 7 magic skillz up..like conjuration,destruction,alteration,restoration,alchemy,mysticysum and illusion

all you gotta do is use them alot..when alking arounjd just keep firing up skills like summoning skelitons,lighting up etc..ive got most of my skills up to around 50 before i started to use my skills over and over again..because they take alot longer to go up a level in the later stages..also you could get trained by peeps in mages guild..you can really only do this at earlier stages like apprentice or journyman..as you get higher youll be more skillful than tha teachers :P

Whats the story with this game it was recomended so highly that when i saw it for 27 euro (xbox 360 )i made the purchase. Only to be hugely dissapointed , after a few hours game play ive killed a few rats and an odd zombie then spent ages just talking to people , To tell you the truth it bored the arse off me .

Is it all just talking and casting gay spells or should i give it another go

Sounds like you're still only on the tutorial. You have to get out of the sewers before the game starts properly. Then think of it as GTA with a sword. Basically you can walk up to anybody and end up on some mission.

im level 16 now and have 80 intelligence and 70 willpower and 62 strength

im going to try to increase my destruction any tips (its level 66)

also were is the best place to buy conjuration spells

i want to summon a few beasts
