I bought the W850i on Saturday, subscribed to mobile broadband and have been "age verified" but I find that the GMail java app can't connect (despite me allowing it to access the internet), I also downloaded a 3D earth app and it too can't connect to its server to download files needed to install it.

Is this just something wrong/restricted by the 3 network or am I configuring it incorrectly?

Also I can't seem to add any RSS (.xml) feeds to it, are the problems connected?

I urge you to read some other threads about this in this forum. 3pay mobile broadband will not work with https connections which for example gmail java app uses. Only http connections allowed. Guess the 3d earth app also uses secure http.

Aye, I read through some of the threads afterwards and saw this. It's a shame, although I have managed to use an alternative app called Glite.
