Good Maths books for 1st/2nd Yr. Mech Engineering??

    Looking for recommendations of Maths books for 1st/2nd year Mechanical Engineering.Id say i failed my maths exam so i just want to have them for the repeats,ill leave it too late if i dont get em now.Thanks

    Engineering Mathematics by K.A. Stroud is a pretty much standard book for engineering courses - there's also an Advanced Engineering Mathematic by the same authour.

    You should be able to pick it up in most second hand college bookshops.

    Another text we used was Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Erwin Kreyszig - it can be a pretty daunting text at times but worth a flick through.
