    Hi all,

Just wondering where I can pick this up.

I heard of this around Christmas time and I even thought about buying it 2 or 3 months ago.
However when I go in to shops they say its not out yet or never heard of it!!!!

    Is it
    a) out in the rest of the world and not out here yet(how)? Are DS games region locked?

b)came out ages ago and everywhere is now sold out?

Yeah, whether it'll come out here is a mystery. Just import it. Videogamesplus.ca are excellent.

On that note, Ouendan 2 (the sequel to the original Japanese version) is out this week, if you want that, check out http://www.play-asia.com

    I got it from cdwow.ie
It's a nice game but once you have beaten it there's not much to go back for. I tried to trade it in but they wouldn't take it from me in any of the shops.

Indeed. I haven't played Elite Beat Agents, but Ouendan is a game I played and played and played, collecting S grades in each stage on each difficulty. Not so much for completion's sake, but because it never stopped being amazing fun.

OP, you really, really should import it right away.

I disagree strongly! Though my opinion is base on Gitaroo Man... I reckon it's still valid!

Is Ouendan 2 a different game to Elite beat agents or is it just a japanes version?

EBA is an Americanised version of the Ouendan formula, with the J-Pop soundtrack removed (blasphemy imo ;) ) and replaced with pop / rock music. Apparantly the spinning mechanism has been made easier as well - the one aspect of Ouendan I despised. Kind of a half sequel to Ouendan, Ouendan 2 being the full sequel (but from what Ive heard little more than a mission pack, unfortunately).
