interested in knowing what i need or where i need to bring my acoustic so i can plug it into an amp for gigging..

don't know much about this at all but i believe i need a pick-up?
what would be the best reasonably priced kit for a Taylor BigBaby acoustic? and how would i go about installing it?

also, i have a marshall amp that i used with my old electric guitar.. will this be ok to use with the pickup/acoustic or does it need any special inputs?

i'm slightly dumb on the subject so all help appreciated :)

Big Baby is very light wood.. so wouldn't go drilling or cutting any holes in it. You can get acoustic pickups that slot in under the strings at the sound hole . Most music shops would carry them.
As for the amp, yes you can plug the scoustic into it.. but the tone may not be wonderful..
