Just wondering does anyone know if you can buy the extended warranty when an ipod is over a year old?

    Any knowledge greatly appreciated!

Shops will only sell extended warranties at the time of the sale BEFORE the product leaves the store. They'd be mad to do it afterwards!

To the best of my knowledge Currys will sell and extended warrenty, but you must prove that the item is in working condition, which may be a little har to prove at times.

In PC world, currys and Dixons you have 14 days in which to purchase the extended warranty from the day you purchase the device.

Fair enough,- I stand corrected! I'm only speaking from the point of view of someone who currently works for a certain giant Australian retailer... ;)

Anyway i think argos offer the same sort of thing as the other mentioned business, but don't quote me on that because i'm not positive.

I found out you can buy them from apple online once it's within a year of purchase so it's still covered by the original warranty
