I'm no expert on law* but most pubs demand that under 18's are off the premises by 9 so I imagine you would only get an hours watching in before you had to leave again...

*by that I mean, I know nothing about the law!

Hee hee, I really know nothing about poker but my mates at home in Ireland have gotten into playing it recently so I know at Christmas, instead of our usual Playstation and drinking fest there'll be a game on...may as well learn something about the game so I can join in :)

Not sure that any U18 should be encouraged to sign false declarations of age ;) Besides if said U18 actually went on to win a prize there could be a lynching if it was discovered s/he was under 18!

Again I'm not sure but I imagine that signing a declaration to say you are over 18 doesn't indemnify the landlord against prosecution should the declaration be discovered to be false...jeez, you'd swear I actually knew something about law the way I'm going on here!!

any of the pubs ive worked in hardly enforce the after 9pm rule during the week. so if the tournys on like a monday, tuesday and maybe wednesday you should have no problem getting in as there wont be bouncers. (unless its a major one in town, which i doubt). plenty of under 18s watch champions league in pubs.

how old are you? and more importantly how old do you look? it would be a bit shady looking seeing a 15 year old 4betting pf

Lloyd, you probably still had to shave 6 times a day when you were 16, so that's why you might have gotten away with it.

Also, I am sure that in your post above you were subliminaly pointing out why it would be wrong to lie about your age in order to break the law, as this is certainly not something we like to encourage on this site. Yes, I am positive that is what you are saying.

I too am sure of this which is why I didn't report the post tbh! I just felt that someone should spell that out as we all know that some people take things too literally :D

I'd say you have some sort of record regarding % of posts which say exactly the same thing...

    I really doubt it.
too many people that quote and type "." or "FTW".
At least I put some effort in.

I would love if the search function on boards wasn't so rubbish, then I could check.
I imagine it's about once every 25 posts over the last 400 or so.

Just a friendly hint, but if you are intending to become a regular poster here, posts that use full words rather than text speak get better responses, and are much easier to read.

    Welcome to boards.
