I was browsing through Wikipedia and came across this link from the CIA!!!!!
    https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ei.html

Talk about seriously detailed! I had a chuckle or two, especially when I learnt that we had 2.55 million radio's in 1997 and that in 2005 we had 753km of pleasure craft only waterways!

Ahh I was just surprised that they keep such a detailed list. Obviously it's for the benefit of US citizens, but do you think anyone actually accesses content such as this?

The CIA online Factbook you can access for around 200 nations? They are heavily demographic with lots of details. They supposedly have "black box" (they won't share their formulas) theoretical models they attempt to use to predict what nation's will do. Ha! Doesn't seem to be working! Or if they do work, the Bush administration doesn't use them! Their foreign policies are terribly failing!

I remember an online (or possibly CD-Rom) encylopedia in the 90's which had its info on countries supplied by the CIA. One of Ireland's main exports was listed as rice! Probably cause it's grown in Paddy fields. :D

They're probably watching this thread right now...

I heard the CIA invented the phrase "you're just being paranoid" to stop us being suspicious. ;)
