"This week, an asbestos-disposal impasse raises tensions between Jersey and New York. Meanwhile, Tony has a revelation while Paulie gets upstaged".......

I hope my 'cousin' sets his video recorder, cause I think this episode is gonna be a cracker! :D

Watch it again and it makes more sense, chrissy dying kinda threw me, expected him to turn up with the feds

What an uneventful way for Chrissy to die. I would've preferred to see him go out in a blaze of glory gunning down some of the NY guys!
Symbolic that 'Comfortably Numb' was playin. He just couldn't kick the habit

How hot was the girl Tony was with? That's the important issue this week.
    Answer: Mega hot.

I'm not sure what T's revelation was...

was the last thing he said before he fell over at the roulette table 'He's dead!'?

P.S: Any reason there is no sopranos forum? I guess it's ending soon though... bit late now

He paid most of them, or all of them, one way or another.

That was amazing, couldn't believe it when Tony started to hold Chrissys nose... SO unexpected, but i was pretty happy to see him go, he had turned into a whining drain on everyone.

Tony's trip to vegas and subsequent trip to peyote-land we;re great too, especially the giggle fit on the floor of the hotel.

Tensions with Phil are increasing so hopefully we'll see some proper conflict between jersey and new york soon.

    What a show!

Truly weird episode. Kinda surreal which of course fitted in well with the peyote. I think Tony is just having one of those moments you get on psychadelics when everything just makes sense.

Yep, that's what he said. My take on it is that Tony now believes that Christopher was his bad luck charm. Tony started winning at the roulette table, which ends his bad luck streak. I'm pretty sure this was Tony's revelation, he's finally cut out the thing he feels was holding him down and causing all his problems.

Sad way for Christopher to go out, though kind of poetic considering the way he has become of late, always complaining, bringing up the Adrianna thing with Tony like some sort of trump card, back on the booze and junk.

It all makes sense, me slow.

Yep looks like Tony blamed Chrissy Boy for his recent run of bad luck, typical sopranos on the way Chrissy went out, if u think about it alot of the violence has been toned back a good bit, looks like AJ is battling his emotions with his violent mates, when they were beating up the black student he was all into it then it seemed to mess his head up. Also nice nod to the Departed with Chrissy sticking on the soundtrack.

    Snake ;)

Chris was dead at the point when Tony arrived in Vegas and his luck didnt change till after he hooked up with Christoper's chick and took all the type's of drugs that Chris was taking.

    You can say that again!

Most unexpected, unpredictable episode ever !

    EDITed to add:
How about that sick half-smile/smirk on Tony's face while he is "calling Chris a taxi"? What a bastard!

Also why did Tony hook up with Chris-duh-fur's ex-bimbo? Was that the closest he could get to porking Adriana? (and yes mega-hot is correct)

While Tone was eating alone in Las Wages I was expecting someone (perhaps a Buddhist monk) to walk up to him and address him as Kev Infinity.

How many eps left after this one?

Wasn't expecting a death so early in the episode. Seeing
Tony about to dial 911...and then the look on his face as he suffocated Chris. Apparently the last episode is titled 'Made in America', class.

    Made in America

Perhaps hinting at AJ getting 'made'?

Surely that takes years of work and respect building?

That's what montages are for! :)

That wouldn't be the sopranos style. That would be awful actually.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,592 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

    Yeah, I was joking. :)

Still, the way AJ's story arc is going, the natural progression is for him to finally become his father's son. He's already got a toe in the door with the gambling racket, and he's in therapy, again mirroring his father.

That AJ is a messed up kid. I can see him losing his cherry before the end.

    I think AJ crying
after the bicycle guy was beaten up
was the show saying that AJ isn't cut out for that life and that he WON'T be walking in his father's footsteps. AJ did get involved in that incident and the
    toe
incident but he didn't look like he was into it. I really don't think the show will end like that. Too predictable for Chase (as an aside, I like the way Chase toyed with the audience,
playing up Tony's gambling issue as if turning into a degenerate gambler
was the way Tony was going out. I also think it's pretty clear AJ doesn't have the smarts to be involved at a high level (his comments about gambling).

As for the girl, was she not a prostitute? Maybe not.

After years Tony finally decided (and had decided a long time ago it seems) that Christopher was not going to run the family on his behalf
(if you remember the talk her had with Bobby in the 1st episode). What happened in this episode merely confirms it. We all knew Chris was on the way out it was just a question of how.

I've absolutely no idea how the show is going to end. I don't think it will end with Tony being killed, ending up in prison or with AJ being killed. Nothing like that. But I've no idea what will happen. I've a feeling it will have something to do with senior family members betraying him. He might end up with nobody but Bobby Bacala for company!

Sounds a lot like Junior :p What's happened to him anyway? I wonder have we seen the last of him since he seems to have finally settled down/given up in the hospital.

What happened to Christopher's friend? Can't remember. The guy who came in with Chris in this scene:

Too predictable. David Chase would never do such a thing.
