    Hi All,

I currently live in Park West and am considering changing jobs to work in Palmerstown. Does anyone with knowledge on this commute know the most convenient way to do this via public transport. I’m currently checking out Dublin Bus timetables, but information from anyone with knowledge on the commute will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks In Advance

79A from Parkwest to Ballyfermot Road. 18 to Palmerstown.

Take the 18 from the opposite side of Ballyfermot Road to where the 79A drops you.

If you have a bike and are up for a short cycle: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=951544
It is just over 3 miles to the Lucan Road. 15-20 minutes tops.

Walk, it will take about 20 to 30 mins, cycle... 5 to 10 mins to Kennelsfort road.
Oh and ignore daymobrew bit about 3 mils to Lucan road, its in the wrong direction so no need to go that way. Parkwest is behind Cherry Orchard which is beside Palmerstown. So coldcut road all the way.

I know you asked about Public transport and KC61 answered that so do that if its not nice out but otherwise its quicker to cycle and maybe even quicker to walk than wait for buses.

Park West Avenue is now connected to Cloverhill Road. www.dto.ie
