Sorry if this is not the right forum for this. But as most of use some system to store cds I thought I couldn't think of anywhere else to ask.

I'm not the most organised person in the world to put it mildly, currently I have a few different types of computer cd holders, none of them hold that many and between having them in different places and just having them loose and scattered around, I can be forever trying to find specific ones sometimes.

So I'm thinking I'd like to quit pffafing around and just buy one cd storage system that can hold hundreds if not thousands of cds and better again if it worked electronically so you could quicky find the cd you wanted by typing in a search or something.

Anyone know does something like this exist?

Cheers degsie and hopeful... really appreciate the info and yip those are the kinda things I had in mind. That one in amazon seems to be bug ridden though, a lot of bad reviews.

Anyway really good to know these are out there... have to tryt to work out which one to go for now, anybody actually use one of these?

No shelves in my little home office, anyway most of my cds are computer cds and can't just have them loose on a shelf, for the tidy organised person they probably have no need for this, for scatterbrained pretty busy person that I am, this kinda thing will be a god send :)
