Next Boards League - Prize poll

Hi folks,

The end of the current boards league is coming to end in the next two weeks.

What would you like to see us do with the next one?

1: Keep it as it is with Monthly league and added prize (around $1000 fund)
2: Make it a yearly with Monthly winners getting an entry into a Grand final Tournament with a WSOP 2008 seat up for grabs ($10,000 in case they change the buy in )

I believe it would be better to be monthly. Alot of people may see the yearly prize as an unachievable goal and may impact the number of entrants each week.

But every month someone has the chance to get a seat in the final tournament, i think it would add to the numbers especially later in the year when its coming near the big tourney for a chance to play in the WSOP. I agree if it was a league system over a whole year and i was way behind after 2 or 3 months i might lose interest but they way shortstack is saying is every month everyone starts fresh with another chance to win a seat in the final tournie. Great Idea especially considering its a completely free prize.

Exactly! Take a % out each month and keep it for the end of year. S you would still have monthly prizes and a big yearly one.

I'd prefer monthly with an end of year prize. But I'd also prefer a weekly game rather than the two a week version at the moment. You could have the MTT and maybe a constant 10 table buy in Jackpot type SnG for boards only? More of a fund raiser for the End of year prize, possibly with first place only in the SnG getting points to the league.

I dunno. Just some thoughts.

Ah right i thought it was going to be just one big league table for the whole year.

Thats a good idea then. Change my vote to yearly.

Something that people who take up the game in 6 months time, and find Boards, could still jump into and have a shot at. I guess thats a monthly thing then... hmm
