play music while you game on PS3

is it possible to listen to music saved to your ps3 i know it can be done with the xbox 360. but it cant seem to be done on the ps3 im pretty disapointed considering that you could listen to music and game on the first xbox nevermind the 360... sony get of your arses

no you cant AFAIK..sony may allow it in a future update but who knows...im disappointed too would be great to listen to music while gaming..
