Hitachi 55 inch HD ready plasmatelevision

Just was looking at ibood and theres a 55inch plasma HDTV for 1999euro amazing value in my opinion. What do you all think of the value? Don't think I will be getting one as we just got a 40'' sony bravia LCD for 2 grand. Anyways the site is:

That's some good value...... But it takes them about a month to deliver a biro, I'd say you'll be lucky to get that TV before you retire

Yeah that'd be sweet. My bro has a 50 inch in his apartment... Can't remember how much it cost, but he got a good deal in a sale.

Would be great to trump him But I'd rather go on the holiday I've been saving for!

The 47" Aldi set would be a better deal IMO, as it has 1080p.

not a bargain unless you are buying it purely on the basis that it's a 55" screen........I can't see any value in paying 2 grand for a HDTV that size that doesn't do full resolution.........

you could get it at similiar price from uk with a lot less of the ibood courier problems
