Boot Repair

    Hey,

I've snapped an eyelet off one of my Rachlie boots and need to get it replaced. They were a hellishly expensive pair of boots to buy and they've served me extremly well over the few miles I've asked of them. They're still in great shape so I'm not throwing them out of replacing them.

I've asked my cobbler, and a couple of local out doors shops for help, I've googled but only found boot repair specialists in the states. Rachlie's website doesn't have any recommended repairers listed.

Can anybody recommend anybody for this type of work anywhere in Ireland? UK?

    Regards
    Dave

I've had boots repaired in the UK before with this lot http://www.lsr.gb.com/, complete resole and some stitching repaired. Very satisfied with the service. They'll do most repairs you can think of.

They look to be a pretty professional outfit too Alun,

Might send an oul' pair of salopettes over their way before the next winter.

No problem. The only thing I'd say would be to remove any laces and/or insoles if you're particularly attached to them as they're likely to be replaced.
