    Macattack,

I have a house on .7 of an acre that you can practice on and I promise I will not charge you anything ! A complete freebo. Not a cent ! Complete blank canvass for free. !

The Botanic Gardens runs a horticulture course which is the standard training for this. Very good course.

    Have you any past experience?

I would start (if you weren't going to go down the qualification route) getting a job with an existing company.
Now is the time to start looking for a job - the summer is coming and people want their gardens done!

Are you looking to do design or the grunt work?
