Cheapest 5D anybody has got?

My 20D has just stopped working due to salt water damage, and rather than buying another 20D I'm hoping to splash out (hopefully not literally this time) on a 5D. Only a student, so I can't afford to spend that much. The cheapest I can buy it for is:
~1650 shipped from the US, plus whatever duty there might be - any ideas?
~1800 shipped grey from japan eBay, plus maybe or maybe not duty on this.
Nothing as cheap from the UK unfortunately, and I haven't seen anything cheap in Germany either.
Does anybody know anywhere else exceptionally cheap? Can't really afford to go over the 1700 mark. EU would be of use too, as I can get the VAT back.
    Thanks

If you can claim the VAT back getting it from the US would keep it below your 1700 ceiling. There is no duty on SLR bodies. It's just a matter of finding the right customs code to put on the box.

Cian this guy does very good deals, Ian Kerr "Kerso", he is on the http://photography-on-the.net/ I have bought from him in the past, he gives very deals and the goods are shipped from scotland. He is also on ebay, but if you PM him on the POTN website he gives good discounts. He sells all the equipment with full international warranty so you can claim your cashback etc.

Forgot you were looking into a 5D, under 1700 would be nice...!

This POTN site - any links to his ebay store?

Scratch that. According to page 1080 of http://www.revenue.ie/pdf/TAR07-96.PDF there is 4.2% duty payable on SLRs.
