Try not to be underwhelmed by the tulips after your trip to Keukenhof ;)

Still lovely bluebells in the woodsy bit just between the cactus house and the tulips though. Some poppies in the rows behind the ferny greenhouse, and spend some time under the japanese maple too, it's gorgeous :D:D:D

Calina, hope to see you there, I'll send you my number if you want me to let you know where everyone is after the initial meeting if you won't make it on time.

Gandalf, I don't think we've met yet have we? I mean, except in Rivendell... ;)

Simon, are you going to be back in two later on or will you be away until late late? Let me know if you're around later, there might be some pub action.

Ah, shame I didn't know about this earlier. We're having friends over for dinner tomorrow evening. It would have been nice to drop along.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,063 ✭✭✭GristlyEnd

I will be there. Hope the rain stays away for the afternoon.

I really should be going back to Waterford tomorrow. Moreso tonight...

But maybe, just maybe, I'll turn up.

I'll just look for thirty people wandering around town with cameras everywhere.

I think I might just bring along my Supersampler though :D

The weather isn't supposed to be good tomorrow but the dark clouds could give a bit of mood to your shots.

Hi guys, I am new to this place that Rymus kept hidden from me, but I have now seen his other side.

Like someone else here I have some mates calling for dinner tomorrow night all the way from mile and miles away, cavan. But cant call it off since it was organised weeks ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,624 ✭✭✭✭Fajitas!

    Hey McAWilliams, welcome along!

You'll probably find out soon enough why Rymus kept it hidden though... :p

Gandalf up to your usual standard I see, very nice :)

Calina beautiful texture in that bw flower shot there. And I love the spire with buildings behind, something a little different from your usual...

It was a fun day out - and lots of 'L' envy in the pub afterwards (oh and some Nikon people - splitters!) :D

Nice to meet some of the baords people too (I guess I should stop lurking!)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,319 ✭✭✭sineadw

I only got to go to the pub bit. Poor me...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,966 ✭✭✭elven

    Poor you, indeed...

Nice to see the lurkers coming out of the shadows ;)

There was a definitie imbalance, with the amount of Nikonians there. I felt rather uncomfortable...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

Yeah what is it about Nikon users, they look evil or something???

Its like in the films the good guys use Macs, I reckon therefore that the bad guys must be disciples of Nikkor :p

I guess I should join this group after meeting a bunch of you on Saturday. :-) It was a good day out, thanks all. I have to say, I've never seen so much cool camera equipment on a city center pub table before.

In fairness now, the beers outnumbered the cameras after a while
