    Hi,

    thanks for the link...
Picked up some titles and was thrilled about it....until I noticed delivery charges...99p per book. For 30 books it builds up quite a bit, makes the whole clearance sale not worth it!!!

    Magic

Its actually worse than £1 a book, they also charge £3.99 per order on top of that, its crazy they can't be selling many books to Ireland

Shipping is ridiculous. Amazon clearly don't want to sell to the irish market anymore. I had a £10 pound voucher for them that I was trying to use up last year and even with the discount most things were cheaper elsewhere.

And when you see that they have free shipping for orders over £15 for UK of course, it makes it even more painful!

A few books I had selected this morning had gone from £1 to 9.99 by the time Igot around to compelting the order. Needless to say I left them...

Its a shame Amazon don't care enough for Irish residents. Ah well there is always the bookpeople.ie and others.

Easons.ie charge 6.50 for delivery of a book...the mind simply boggles how they can charge that price??....it would be cheaper to post a book from antartica

Where else is good for on-line books beside play.com which is the best as far as i can see?
