    Just noticed on that aldi page it says its a low noise usb key. Didnt know they made any noise to be honest

    you dodged a bullet tbh, the aldi one had that u3 software on it, you really dont want that, dunno why more usb flash drive manufacturers seem to be putting it on their drives.

    Its a pain in the ass for anyone non technical in fairness, had a friend of mines head wrecked. He kept just deleting the file but it kept "reinstalling itself". Would it be that tough for them to include the uninstall app on the drive?

    Does formatting actually get rid of it? Im not so sure?

    Formatting doesnt get rid of it but the link Ambrose put up does, but it is a pain in the arse to get rid of if your just an average joe that wants a plug and play memory stick.
