One2One Computer Training at home?

    Hey there - does anyone know of any reputable companies that actually do this and how much it would cost. It's for my Mum who's not PC literate, she'd be willing to pay for one on one tuition at home, just windows and microsoft stuff. She's in Dublin/Meath area... any help appreciated.

    Not sure how helpful this might be for you, but the library in Ballsbridge(near Rolys and the American Embassy) do a PC/Internet training thing. The people there would be in your mom's age group, not sure if its free or not. Or there may be a library closer to you that does the same thing.

    Just got in ahead of me. I noticed that a lot of the public libraries around provide free PC training. The South Dublin ones anyway. Should check that out. Otherwise, check out the local ads section, there is bound to be people offering that service.

    I think if you visit citizensinformation.ie they have a page on Adult computer learning courses.

    She might find it easier to learn with a group of like minded people all of the same level.

    If she really wants One2one training on basic PC skills, I would find a student to do the work for you. Cheap for you and good money for any student.
