Cue club fire

Just heard that Connies place in Killarney had a fire and took a lot of damage. That obviously sucks a lot and given how hands on all the O Sullivans are in the club I'm sure it must be a terrible blow. If there is anything we at the vic can do to help feel free to get in touch and let us know.

Dont think so dev. Connie was closed at the time from what i can gather and dont think the fire originated on his premises. Dont want to say too much as just going on heresay at the moment and dont want to slander anyone. Think there was a lot of damage done though, it was described to me as "burned to the ground".

Tough break Connie, sometimes its best to look on the brightside. You and your family are unhurt. Whilst it pains to see something you live for be destroyed, at least it can be rebuilt.

I'm in Killarney/Dingle/Kenmare in July so I'll pop in for a game in the place I've heard so much about. Hopefully by then the Dubs will have shown something in the Sam and I won't have Kerrymen berating me (Like last year in Listowel).

    Tóg go bog é

Great to hear that youll be back that quick Connie and anything we can do up here to help you know wont be a problem. Sure the usual suspects will make the trip down from Limerick to see if Geoff (mormank) can successfully defend after his big win in the E400. Will pop in to get some posters and the like off you as soon as you have your breath back.

    ouch :(

on the plus side, nobody hurt and every now and then the insurance company needs a claim or they would not be needed and go out of business

no doubt you and the club will rise like a phoenix from the ashes and fly high again

my sincerest best wishes Connie, let me know about the reopening event and i will try to get there

    a query:

will you be installing a Pole Dancing area as part of the rejuvination project?

if so, i will deffo make to opening show

Hey just wondering how things are going with the reopening.

I'm from West Kerry and will be living in East Inch over the summer so was hoping to make off the cardroom a bit.

I was just wondering what cash games are run; I'm looking for NL Hold 'Em with €1/2 blinds hopefully.

I have zero interest in this. I'm wondering about in the Cue Club.

there was no regular cash games running when it was open. Normally a game would start up after a tourney (lots of action some nights), but before the fire i belive he was trying to get a regular game going so its a wait and see
