yeah i know, another patton related thread....im such a fanboy :o

Anyway had it for a few days and i really like it.
The music is based on some old native American songs and stories, with your usual Tomahawk dark edge thrown in to the mix.
Patton is on good form with on vocals and the album as a whole has some great atmosphere around it.
My comparison for it would probably be fantomas' directors cut, its a bit of a removal from the last two tomahawk albums.
Anyway to sum up, if your a fan of patton in general i reckon youll enjoy it (more so than peeping tom ;) )

Thankfully it's a bit of a removal from those albums as I can't say I'm a big fan of Tomahawk, hate to judge without having giving it a proper and I mean a *proper* chance but they're my least favourite Patton project. I won't get it til after my exams but in the meantime I'll watch this awesome live vid of God Hates a Coward - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt856_nRxQk

I've been saying I'll give them another chance for a good while now though :p

Yeah hopefully, some of the Tomahawk stuff I struggle with, but I will give the new stuff a go.
I do like some of the Peeping Tom stuff.
I love the tracks he has done under the Lovage project, I think Damon Albarn was involved there somewhere too.

Dont think Albarn was involved in Lovage mate, Dan The Automater was, who worked with Del the Funky Homosapien for handsome Boy Modelling School, who was also the "ghost" inside Russell for a couple of Gorrilaz tracks......i think thats how the gorrilaz link goes lol could be wrong.
Lovage was fantastic though, the chemistry between patton and jennifer Charles was sexy as hell!

If it's got something to do with Patton and I haven't replied, I'm probably dead :D

I don't think I listened to Mit Gas actually, but I do have it. Another friend said it was better than the s/t now that I think about it.

'Book of the Month' by Lovage gets stuck in my head quite a lot. The rest of the album is pretty good too. Peeping Tom is pretty sweet too though I haven't listened to that in ages.

Yeah Patton and Charles sound fantastic together, Sex(I'm a) is one sexy song.

    Oh just found this;
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damon_Albarn
Just looks like he featured on one track.

I'm always one for the succinct analogy. I have to say, I'm surprised so many people here prefer Mit Gas to the first one. For me the first one is one of those classic Patton masterpieces.
