Another question about the charger, I'm going to get a DS when I'm in america and I was wondering if anyone know if the charger accepts 230v and a simple 2-pin to 3-pin adapter would do the job or would I need a converter? I can't find such details online!!

I think so, my sp charger is 220v only, I was hoping it would be as universial as the games!!

Hm, doubt there's such a thing as an SP -> DS Lite charger adapter, it's the same output AFAIK, it'd be a niche item.

What he ^ said. I'm just back from my US hols and I got one. Just double checked the a/c adaptor and it's 100V only. I bought the DS and a heap of games in a Gamestop over there and asked the guy if there was a USB charger for them. "If there is, I've never heard of it" he replied. So I walked into the music/dvd/game shop three doors down and paid $9 for a USB/car charger combined.

Excellent value over there. $129 for the DS (90 something €) and $30 per game, or $20 second hand. Came home with DS, charger and 7 games for the cost here of the DS and 1 new game. Happy as a puppy with two pr1cks!
My Wii is now for sale.
