    i,m new to all this airsoft scene and i,m looking to buy a airsoft rifle like this one in the link here http://www.speedytoys.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=213

    would that rifle kill a crow and if so at what distance,also would it be ok to go ahead and order this gun,is it illegal to have in ireland?.
    i understand if its under 1 joule it is fully legal to have,can some one please give me more advice and also would i have to pay any customs charge on it thanks.

    1) i've heard bad things about speedytoys, avoid them
    2) no, an airsoft would not kill a crow, or any other animal,would probably only injure at worst
    if your considering buying one to induce pain on/kill small little animals, then leave this forum and never return
    if you want to use it for pest control, dont bother, go get a licence and buy an airgun, i've never checked, but i dont think crows are considered pests

    3) yes, once it's under 1 joule then it's legal

    5) you are liable for customs and duty on any product bought outside of the EU

    not looking to shoot any crows with it m8,as i would be using it mainly with paper targets e.t.c.

    i only asked because wanted to know what kind of velocity it has.
    well lets say would it kill a rat? and if so at what distance.
