Just need some simple advice. I've been contracting for the past 10 months and working under a managed umbrella company. I need to know if I'd be better off setting up a limited company or staying with the umbrella company. My daly rate is €170 , so how can I earn the most ???

id go with setting up your own company. then get a good accountant. then screw revenue for every penny you can... :)

You would be better off working through an umbrella company like CXC.

You would think , wouldn't you

CXC are great if you want to wait 10 (min) until you get paid. Just finished with them today.

Well its not that hard when you emit a couple of words! :)

I'm with CXC, and the fact that you don't get paid until the middle of the month does bug me a bit, but they're a fairly reliable company otherwise and the staff seem pretty knowledgable.
