    Did anyone cringe/giggle through the report on the Kilkenny/Carlow constituency by RTEs SE correspondent Damien Tiernan?

    The report conained a good 10-12 visual/word plays on word as we saw shots of the various hopefuls on the stump.

    T'was embarrassing by the end and I can only guess it was some sort of in joke/dare issued to him and which he took up with enthusiam.

    Oh the punnage... Twas funny alright. What made me cringe most was the amount of background noise during the live pieces - the helicopter couldn't be prevented, but that marina is right beside a car park, what was all the flapping about?

    The satellite link went down as well. No surprise there.
