Does anyone have any specific numbers on how many hands per hour is average in (1) an online game (2) a live casino game and (3) a live self-dealt game?

full ring live is about 25 in a casino (if you're very lucky and have a good dealer and not too many muppets at the table)

online I'm guessing 70/80 for full ring

    Heres my effort,
I dunno how to attach it so that it auto shows up.

    notes on MSgraph
    1. After 7 drunks, EV starts to drop as all bets are now getting callled and EV due to bluffing no longer exist
    2. anger levels increase until 9 players, then dropped suddenly as once all 10 seats are drunks, they're all gambol happy

I'm going for the physics defintion approach... I hope this makes sense considering ive been studying the damn stuff all day.

    untitledzx3.png

Drunks multiplied by Iritation Levels of regulars is directly proportional to the inverse of hands played per hour squared.

Hands played per hour is also directly proportional to the inverse of the probabillity that each hand can be profitable

Therefore, Drunks multiplied by Iritation Levels of regulars is directly proportional to the probabillity that each hand can be profitable squared!

So proud to have started this serious poker discussion :).
So I guess that I should be comparing online MTTs with 10 minute blinds to 30 min blinds in B&M games. (Of course the competition is completely different but that's another story.) That would put the standard small buyin B&M games (eg 20 mins) in the same bracket as online turbo tournies with 5/6 min blinds? That would explain a lot...

LOL, actually it probably was the best thread Hijack in quite a while. Great work Lloyd.

On your original question, I think you can take El Stuntman's answer here as a good guide. I don't play Live enough to be able to help you out.

Just to let everyone know, Mr. O' Farrell paid up and I'm now up to $16.60 in Operation $15k following an utterly-amazing-adrenaline-pumping-energy-charged session at .05/.10.

    Phew.

Ha, never thought about it that way.

Hmmm... Any geekz0r want to calculate where I'd be in say, 6 months, if my bankroll increased by 10.6% every day?

EDIT: In fact, I believe it's 10.666666667%. Get your facts straight BrokenArrows before you start spewing your Zionist propoganda.
