Is 24 even in real time anymore?

In the current season, Episode 20, there is a scene between the female white-house intern and some semi random guy who is her shag buddy.

They meet in a hotel room, they start kissing etc, and she says she has 'half an hour to spare'. He pushes her down on the bed and pulls her shirt open.... then it cuts to a different scene at:
9 mins 11 seconds

it cuts back to the couple at 12 mins 55 seconds with her in a dressing gown laying on him saying 'I'm going for a shower' with a 'we just did teh deed' look and feel to it, and him laying there looking very pleased with himself and ready for a bit of a kip in a 'we just did teh deed so we did' manner.

So we are to believe that this couple of 'shag buddies' meet up in a hotel room, and manage to go from dressed before sex to dressed after sex, and whatever in-between in 3 mins 44 seconds.

Now, all the 'men can't last more than 12 seconds' jokes aside, this is a bit of a blunder.
