    Anyone know how long it generally takes NTL to come around and install a point once ordered? I tried to order one this evening but they had a problem with their systems, took my number promising to return my call before 8 but obviously never did. Il ring tomoro morning and demand one. If I order it tomro could i have it installed by friday or is it hard to gauge really? I live in the D16 area.

    Thanks

    I'd be surprised if they get someone out to you in 2 days. The last time my NTL signal was down in February they took over a month to get an engineer out to me and they said I was a priority case!

    HI

    I order an extra point couple of weeks ago and took them under a week to come over to install it, Chances you get anything done this week are VEEERRRRRYYYYY low.

    Regards

    wasnt subscribed to this thread for some reason, neway appreciate the replies, i rang on a tuesday i believe, they were out the following monday and the two lads were very fast and a good bit of chat out of them, an eastern european who pretended to fall of the ladder and gave the carlow lad a heart attack, good lads!

    but i did suspect theyd take a couple of weeks, so credit where credit is due, fair play NTL!

    {edit: nope was a wednesday, even better, took 3 workin days!}
