    Hey guys and girls,
    Just got a Ay to Be in Maplins yeserday and I m delighted with it for €167 it s a great little thing. But was wondering if it is even possible to buy new maps,
    which are the most comprehensive maps of Ireland available?

    This gadget seems to be a grey area.

    The first link mentions the people in the 2nd link, Dangaard Telecom, supposedly the manufacturers, but they don't mention the PND on their site.

    It also seems to be loaded with smart2go software, as used on various mobile phone gps set-ups. The maps are obviously the dreaded Teleatlas, and it seems that the support information is thin on the ground.

    You should ask Maplin about how you get your hands on updates. I'm certain that if they realised that their supplier was keeping everyone in the dark, they wouldn't be very happy.
