Hi, had one of these a few years back, not a bad machine the back seats lift making it into a van handy if moving bulky objects. Just one concern if he is really interested in this car make sure he gets the plus model with AC they are like an over in hot weather.:D

We've had one for over 2 years. Would agree with the comment on aircon - we have a Plus model, so has climate control. Wouldn't be without it. Probably the most versatile and flexible car we could find - definitely great value for money. Noteworthy is the fact that 3x individual rear seats can be taken out individually, each having a full 3 point belt. 2x back seats have ISOFIX also, if that matters. Has been perfectly reliable (touch wood) and spares are relatively cheap.

Having a 1.6 petrol though, I can recommend trying to find a diesel model. We get around 35 mpg with 50/50 urban/extra urban mileage. Not powerful by any stretch. When fully laden, acceleration is little more than glacial.:( That said, we've 3 kids, one of whom gets travel sick so driving like a WRC driver is not high on our list of priorities.

    Strong recommendation from me.
