    Hi
Has anyone had luck to connect using the gmail client from http://gmail.com/app?

i am on 3 and have signed up for mobile broadband, but i also have problems with opera mini browser.

Called customer service, and told me to restart the phone, and try again.

maybe i should go to the 3 store?

    thanks
    Michael

Are you on prepay? Because that would be your problem there.

Why is it a problem to be a prepay customer? are you not allowed to send any data?

It had been discussed in other threads here that 3pay only works with http, not https secure connections, and Opera Mini latest versions transfer all data over secure connections. Same with Gmail j2me applet afaik. AFT should work though. That the customer care rep just told you to restart the phone shows that s/he's got no clue as to this..

I couldn't get AFT to work either I'm afraid, but that could just be me not doing something right.
